Filming and Editing Green Screen

When we were filming the green screen, we had to make sure that there was nothing else in the shot apart from our actress and the green screen. The lighting had to be right so that there were no shadows on the screen and then we could proceed.


We decided to film part of the lip syncing on the green screen. Once this was done we could edit it and add it into the complete video.


When we were editing this we had to use a programme called Adobe After Effects. We used Key Lighting to blend the background so no more green could be seen and we inserted an image into the background. In this case we used a lights image to represent fireflies so that it tied in with the song.


It proved difficult to edit the green screen at first because it had to be accurate so that it didnt look fake or unprofessional. This is the final look.
