Music Videos are when a short video or film is related to music. This is done to market the music, the main intention is to increase sales of the music record. Music videos really boomed in the 1980’s when MTV came out. MTV stand for Music Television. Music videos where not always called music videos they were also called promo films, prom clips or film clips. However in China the music videos were called MTVs as it was the only way people could get the music out main stream. As times have moved on and there are other ways to promo music videos, the Chinese entertainment has changed from MTVs to MVs. This is because there is other music channels that can also promote music videos, such as VH1.
Over the years we have seen many different types of videos, the range from animation videos to film extracts to documentaries. Below there are likes to different types of music videos:

We are the World 25-However there are some music videos that blend all different types of visuals in music videos. We are not sure what we would like to do at the moment after all the research i think we will be more clear on what type of music video we would like to achieve.
