We were told that if we would like to us a song from an artist we would have to contact the music company and ask for permission. We managed to find the website for the studios that Owl City was associated with and then we had to fill out a license request form.
Once we had sent it off, we then received a reply saying that we had to fill out a form explaining how we would use the song and what the story was in our video, then we could use the song. Before we sent off the form though, we had to get Mr McGraw to check that all of the details were correct.
